FAQ
Your questions, answered
Do I really need a website?
If you rely on local customers finding and trusting you, then yes. Most people check you online before they call. A clear, fast website that shows what you do, where you work and how to reach you turns those searches into enquiries. If you only ever get work by word of mouth and have more than you can handle, you may not need one yet.
Can I change things later?
Yes, and you do not touch a thing. Just email or message us what you want changed and we make the change for you, usually the same or next day. There is no editor to learn and no dashboard to log into. Looking after your site is part of the monthly price.
What about my domain name?
Your domain is always yours to keep. If you already have one, we connect it for free. If you don't, we can register and manage one for you for £3/month, added to your subscription, we handle the yearly renewal too. Either way, if you ever leave us we transfer the domain to you or your chosen registrar at no extra charge.
How long does it take to go live?
It starts fast: tell us a little about your business and we'll send you a free preview of your site, usually within one working day, before you pay anything. Once you're happy and go live, we publish it on a free subdomain straight away, and on your own domain as soon as it connects.
How much does it cost?
There is a one-off setup fee and a small monthly price that covers hosting, looking after the site and making your changes. The Essential package is £149 setup then £29 a month. The Complete package is £249 setup then £49 a month. No long contract, and you can cancel any time.
What do you need from me?
Just answers to a few simple questions: what you do, the areas you cover, your contact details, and any photos or a logo you have. You do not need to write the words yourself; we turn your rough notes into clear, professional copy for you.
What if I want to cancel?
You can cancel any time from the billing portal, no phone calls needed. We keep your data per our agreement, hand over your domain, and stop the monthly charge at the end of your current period.
Is there a contract, and who owns the website?
There is no long lock-in. When you complete the questionnaire you agree to a simple, plain-English service agreement that sets out what we provide, the monthly price and your right to cancel any time. You own your content, your photos and your domain name. If you ever leave, you keep your domain and we hand everything over.
